Personal Statements

Since Christians generally pray for one another, it should not seem strange that God might give one Christian a prophetic insight about a friend. Such a thought can be edifying, helpful and encouraging. Without using God's name, I think we can talk sincerely with our friends and share whatever we are feeling for their welfare. It is detrimental, in contrast, to go around delivering judgmental impres sions about people. Anything of that nature should be directed to the church leadership for review.

We can only teach you what to do with the words. Nobody can teach you how to receive words from God. Those things are the activity of the Holy Spirit in our human experience.
