Ernest Gentile

Ordained at the age of seventeen, Ernest B. Gentile has been in active ministry for the past 52 years, including pastoring for 41 years. He speaks frequently at ministers' conferences, camp meetings and churches in the U.S. and has ministered in twenty foreign countries. He is noted for his prophetic ministry, unique biblical insights and transparent approach to today's practical problems. In addition to his pastoral ministry, Ernest has been active for the past 36 years in prophetic presbytery ministry in numer ous churches across the country. He serves on the Leadership Team of MFI (Ministers Fellowship International), which has ministers in more than thirty nations of the world. After founding and then pastoring Christian Community Church in San Jose, California, for 33 years, he and his wife, Joy, turned the pas torate over to their son-in-law and daughter. Since then, for the past six years, Ernest and Joy have been active in an extensive traveling ministry. Ernest has been married 49 years, has four children and four grand children, all of whom are serving the Lord. He has a diploma from Bethel Temple Bible School (Seattle), a B.A. from Whitworth College (Spokane) and an M.A. in Biblical Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary (Pasadena). He is the author of Charismatic Catechism (New Leaf Press), Awaken the Dawn! (BT Publishing) and Worship God! (BT Publishing). In addition to preaching and teaching, Ernest has a special involvement in prophetic ministry. He travels extensively at home and abroad, mainly with church and ministerial groups that believe in and exercise prophecy. In these circles he is well known for his participation and teaching on the subject. He has done extensive seminary-level research on the subject and consulted with leaders in the field.
