Evaluated or tested by leaders and the people. Failures identified and judged; then the person is allowed to prophesy again if penitent and cooperative. Judged mainly on character and content. An inner filling of all the people. Prophecy operated by faith. The constantly abiding, indwelling Paraclete, mainly for confirmation. Produced by apostles/prophets/scribes.

Spoken, sung or demonstrated in the congregational meet ings of the Christian churches, given in love. Sometimes done privately. Routinely or regularly in congregational meetings, as normal part of church services. After Christ. Usually at local church meeting place. Sometimes to individuals.

Great variety: spoken, written and demonstrated. Usually given in crisis. Delivered in private encounters, on city streets or in public declarations.

Sporadic crisis times. Prior to Christ and His salvation. Anywhere.

External anointing on prophets. A sudden, dramatic, powerful influence or a revelation given to be delivered. Manifold influences for control and direction. Produced by prophets/scribes.

Prophecy judged mainly on fulfillment and words of Moses. Basically unchallenged, but failures terminated!
