The Shaking of Nations - A Harvest Tsunami Is On Its Way....

It is important that we recognize not only the authority that God

has given us in Christ, but also our limitations. We have great

power to estab lish God’s will on earth – but not our own.

The qualifying verse is found in the a postle John’s first letter:

And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.” (1 John 5:14-15, emphasis added )

The key phrase is “according to His will.” We cannot just insist

on whatever we want; our prayers need to reflect God’s will and

character. Jesus says, “ Your will be done on earth as it is in

heaven.” (Matt. 6:10) As long as we are careful to flow in the

will of God within any given situation on earth, we can bring the

kingdom of God into it with great power.

Sharpening our Focus

We are to aim our blows at the spiritual forces of Satan — those

who are speaking lies, working deception, and stirring up

fleshly thinking wherever they have influence. Our righteous

anger is not to be directed at people caught in the snares of the

evil one, but rather against the evil one and his demons

themselves.
