The Shaking of Nations - A Harvest Tsunami Is On Its Way....

This shaking of Satan’s heavenly spiritual position began the

reversal of his spiritual control over the earth. We realize that

Satan’s rule there will not be completely eliminated until Jesus

returns; but because of Jesus’ victory, the church became the

dominant spiritual force in those heavenly realms.

The key is for the church to believe in the victory it has, and

claim the position given to it by Christ (Eph. 2:6).

Understanding Our Victory in the Heavenly War

As we saw in the previous chapter, due to Adam’s sin Satan

became the “ruler” of this world (John 12:31-32; 14:30). With

the resurrection and exaltation of Jesus Christ, however,

Satan’s evil spiritual realm was sent tumbling! In multiple places

Scripture pictures Satan as being thrown out of his position in

the heavens — weakening his grip on humanity. (Rev. 12:7-10;

Luke 10:18-19; Col. 2:15)

Jesus — as the head of His church, and as its high priest, —

has taken the highest seat in the highest heaven to intercede

for believers (Eph. 1:20-22; Heb. 8:1). No longer does an

accuser of God’s people stand before the Father’s throne

(Rom. 8:1).
