The Shaking of Nations - A Harvest Tsunami Is On Its Way....

final destruction of this age. Rather, it is the glory of the Lord

rising through the church, drawing the nations to faith in Jesus

Christ. The context indicates a greater spiritual dimension of

God’s heavenly shaking , beyond impact on planets and stars.

For me, it is plain from a New Testament perspective what the

Holy Spirit was identifying: With the coming of Jesus Christ, and

with His death and resurrection, He literally shook the evil

powers in the heavenly realms by disarming them.

And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. (Col. 2:15)

Remember, the goal of the great shaking is redemption, not

judgment. It is God designing or allowing events through which

He will work to cause more and more of the unsaved to seek

Him. As the shaking of the heavens destroys the ability of the

evil one to blind the nations, it will add to the climatic harvest.

Jesus Himself bore witness to the destruction of Satan’s power

in the heavenlies.

The seventy- two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in Your name. ” He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. ” (Luke 10:17-19)
