Satan is full of rage knowing he has lost his greatest assets —

the keys of death and hell (Rev.1:18). And no evil stronghold

he built can withstand the determined assault of the church

(Luke 11:21-22; 1 John 3:8).

Our Job is to Wrestle

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Eph. 6:12)

Jesus won the war — but there are still battles to be fought.

Territory not occupied by the church remains subject to the

enemy’s power to deceive and intimidate. We still must still

wrestle with evil to win the minds and hearts of people. It is our

task to carry the message of Jesus' victory to the world, and

declare the deliverance the Lord has achieved.

As one preacher said, the problem with the church today is that

it “wrestles not” — allowing the enemy ’s position to remain

uncontested over lives, families, and nations. Though we have

the authority to take action, we fail to use it.

By God’s grace this is changing.
