The Shaking of Nations - A Harvest Tsunami Is On Its Way....

Satan is the dominant force behind many of the natural and

social catastrophes we see. Notice what Jesus says about him,

speaking to the Jews in John 8:

You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44; also see John 10:10)

Satan and his minions are at war with the truth. He is the

inspiration for what is false and perverted in this life.

Scripture also reveals that Satan is capable of causing natural

disasters, as we see in Job 1:18-20. Notice in this passage that

God is accused of hurting Job ’ s family — when in fact it was

Satan who was the instigator. Satan is limited in how

destructive he can be with nature, but he is not without authority

there.

The book of James declares that “ Every good and perfect thing

comes down from heaven” (Jam es 1:17), but further says that

evil’s origins come from Satan’s demonic kingdom (James

3:15).
