broke out to lay hands on me and pray that I would receive such

an outpouring in my life. I cannot say that such an outpouring

has come yet but I believed it pleased God that I would ask for

such a thing. I valued what God valued. In some ways I believe

God has answered that prayer one day at a time in all God has

led me through since I made that request.

Receiving a vital and powerful gift from a spiritual parent’s

ministry is priceless. Such impartations in the days ahead will

be necessary as we see the quickening pace of the vast harvest

of God come into the church.

3. The father provides the exemplary gift of their Life .

A father’s inheritance is not just spiritual gifts or an anointing in

ministry. The greatest gift of a spiritual parent to a spiritual child

is observing their life testimony in pursuing God and finding

God faithful in good and bad times. It is the life of the spiritual

parent that so clearly reveals the heart of Father God - His

faithfulness and love.

Paul in 2 Tim.3:10-11 reminds Timothy of what he has

observed in what Paul taught and how he lived. Paul points out

to him that this close observation of his life would become a

lifelong reference point for Timothy to know how he was to

minister and live after Paul was gone. What a wonderful gift to

pass on.
