every sphere of influence.

After some time, Paul finally decided that this whole region of

Asia Minor had been reached with the gospel message (Rom.

15:17-19). Here we have a biblical example of someone literally

obeying the Great Commission because he had the right finish

line.

In a later historic period we see St. Patrick touching all of

Ireland, becoming known as the apostle of that nation. Later,

the nation of Wales was powerfully touched under the

preaching of men like Evan Roberts and Ress Howls. In that

revival, crime dramatically dropped across the nation and bars

closed down. Police had to be used for crowd control during

Sunday morning church services.

During the height of the revival in the Scottish Hebrides, it was

recorded that as ships passed by, passengers and sailors

would fall to the deck under the power and conviction of God’s

presence.

There are numerous illustrations in church history of such

revivals that impacted whole cities and nations. But I do not

believe we have yet seen anything like what is coming.
