The Shaking of Nations - A Harvest Tsunami Is On Its Way....

Again, these ideas are not wrong; but they can and do frustrate

the readiness of the church to reach and disciple the coming

harvest of millions of new believers.

The average western-style church is a biblical church if it keeps

the essential elements according to Jesus’s definition in Mat t.

16: 18-20 and 18:19-20. The problem is that we cannot quickly

produce millions of such churches in order to parallel world

population growth with evangelism growth.

There is no question that the western church model and its

unique type of leadership can produce splendid worship,

training, and specific targeted programs for people ’s needs. I

am not questioning that.

But on the whole, we must restore our focus on creating more

essential churches that can be formed quickly anywhere and

everywhere, inexpensively, directed and staffed by a “tr ain as

you go” vocational working leadership team. Only in this way

can we rapidly and effectively provide the shepherding and

discipleship communities that the coming harvest of new

believers will need.
