The Shaking of Nations - A Harvest Tsunami Is On Its Way....

totally on God’s Spirit to empower him ( John 5:17, 19-20).

Jesus wanted to show us how to do God’s works as a regular

human being, dependent on God. Jesus expected His people

to live and minister the same way He did.

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:12-13).

The Killing of a Fig Tree

One day Jesus decided to teach audacious faith to His

disciples. He saw a fig tree that He felt should have produced

fruit to eat. It had not. So He cursed the fig tree. A few days

later, passing by, the disciples noticed that the tree was already

withered and dying (Matt. 21:19-20). They remarked to Jesus

about the tree's condition. He turned the comment into a

teaching moment — drawing an illustration to teach His

disciples audacious faith.

Jesus re plied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.” (Matt. 21:21)
