The Shaking of Nations - A Harvest Tsunami Is On Its Way....
In another situation Jesus once again responded to the
disciples ’ request to have greater faith.
The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you” (L uke 17:5-6).
Jesus was clearly challenging His disciples to believe that God
was willing to do amazing things through them if they would
only believe. Our job as believers is not to just reason with
people about the gospel, but to demonstrate the life of the
Kingdom of Heaven itself. Jesus knew His time was short. and
was determined to teach His disciples great faith in God and a
dependency on the Holy Spirit to confirm the gospel through
miraculous works (Mark 16:20).
Am I saying that the Lord expects us to constantly stun the
world with amazing miracles and acts of faith? No. I am saying
that as we follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in our lives we must
be ready to live and minister beyond what we think we can do,
and to expect God to be miraculous through us as He leads.
This is not our idea, but the Lord ’ s.
In John 5:17,19-20 Jesus gave His disciples His secret to His
miraculous life and ministry.
