The Shaking of Nations - A Harvest Tsunami Is On Its Way....
How does intentionally focusing on Jesus and the cloud of
witnesses keep us from losing heart? We learn to live a grace
empowered life whether we are in good times or bad times.
God's grace is the supernatural ability to live beyond our natural
ability.
By grace we can refuse to be shamed by the world when we
take a biblical stand, and instead anticipate the joy that will
come from our trust God. No one will ever truly endure what
Jesus went through for our sakes; but our willingness to follow
Him, no matter what, will release the same grace into our lives.
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. (2 Cor. 4:17)
In that passage from 2 Corinthians, Paul simply says that
perspective is everything. In order to persevere, we need to see
our problems through the revelation of God’s present strength
and future glory. Paul had come to regard the incredible
suffering he endu red in serving the Lord as “light and
momentary.”
The writer of Hebrews further characterized growth in the
Christian life as running a race, on a course laid out by God for
each believer. Our job is to train for the race and to run it with
the grace He has extended to us.
