Back in the day, Bill and Ken were also founding members of the Power Team, seen regularly around the world on Trinity Broadcasting Network, TBN. Bill and Ken, along with a few other Power Team members, would perform power feats that were beyond natural human ability. They would break stacks of bricks, tear huge phone books in half with their bare hands, blow up hot water bottles until they burst with a loud bang and break out of multiple pairs of handcuffs, along with lots of other power feats. These acts of power drew huge audiences all over the world. Bro Bill and the Power Team would point these crowds to Jesus as Lord and Savior. To this day, Bro Bill holds the record of breaking out of seven pairs of handcuffs at one time. When he did this amazing feat of strength, he had just completed a forty-day fast. He had lost a substantial amount of weight. In the natural, Bro Bill should have been at his weakest state physically when he attempted this never done-before feat. When the seven pairs of handcuffs were placed on his wrists, knowing in the natural he was physically weak from fasting, Bro Bill stood on the Bible verse found in Zechariah 4:6 “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord Almighty.” The seven pairs of handcuffs shattered into pieces. This victory signified chains and bondages being broken off of people’s lives in Jesus’ Name. So, Bro Bill continued on the phone with a question. “Hey, I have been in prayer asking the Lord who should be on my Holy Ghost SWAT Team that I will soon be leading into Haiti.”
