lot of funny looks as we drove that rental car with the cross on top of it down the New Jersey Turnpike to Washington, D.C. where we carried the cross and preached the Gospel before and after Clinton’s inauguration. One highlight there I will never forget is, I met Johnny Cash standing in line to use the porta-potty on the National Mall. Naturally, he was all dressed in black. I greeted him and thanked him for recording amazing Gospel songs. He autographed one of my tracts before I headed back to help Scott Hinkle minister and carry the cross with Frank. So, when I put out a Facebook message asking for any connections in the Philippines, I got a message back from Frank. He told me about a church in the Philippines he knew of called King Jesus Christian Fellowship. I loved the name and felt immediately drawn to this group by the Holy Spirit. I went online and searched for King Jesus Christian Fellowship. I got really excited when I saw the work they were doing in the Philippines. Their ministry was very focused on evangelism, and they had a church, a Bible school, a feeding program and ran an orphanage. Right away I knew these were my people. So, I sent them an email and asked if we could come and help them and their outreach and rescue efforts after Typhoon Haiyan. I immediately got an email back from their leader, Bishop Eddie Deita. Bishop Deita invited us to come and minister with them and directed me to communicate with his son, Gerson Deita, who was the head of their evangelism efforts. Gerson and I talked on the phone, and I immediately fell in love with this young man because he
