I immediately began calling ministry friends looking to see who would go there with me. After all, from Los Angeles to Manilla is 7,308 miles, with flight time being 15 ½ hours. I knew we would be going into the middle of horrendous devastation and death. I also knew a few friends with a special anointing and calling from the Lord, a Band of Brothers , would go with me to the Philippines. I prayed about who to approach to go with me and I began to put the call out. Then, I went to my relatively new Facebook page and asked if anyone on my friends list knew of any ministry or church in the Philippines our team could partner with in this monumental rescue effort. It wasn’t long before I got answers on both fronts. I got a message back from my friend and street preacher extraordinaire, Brother Frank Gresham, who lived in Missouri with his wife and ministry partner, Janet. Frank and I were like brothers for real. Back in the day, we both had long mullet-style haircuts, we both spoke with thick Texas accents and we both loved to terrorize the devil every chance we got. Many people thought we were actually brothers. One thing I did not have that only Frank Gresham possessed was his infectious laugh. When Frank started laughing, which he did frequently, everyone knew he was in the room. And when he laughed, everyone picked up on his joy of the Lord and were blessed by him. Frank and I had ministered on the streets together in Dallas, TX, at the Fantasy Festival in Key West, FL, on the streets of New Orleans during Mardi Gras, and many
