Street Stories - A Ringside Seat To Over 4 Decades Of Taking Jesus To The Streets Of The World

Morning could not come soon enough for me. We were anxious to meet for breakfast with William and discuss plans to return and bring over a missions team to do an outreach at the Orange Farm. We were hoping and praying that William would be willing to help us, willing to be our boots on the ground. William did not disappoint! William was excited to do an outreach and set up churches for us to speak in. Bobby and I both felt as though William was an old friend of ours. We clicked from the beginning. Now, we had about seven months to prepare for our return trip. Of Sondra’s many friends she had told me about, Lydia Meshoe was definitely one of Sondra’s closest friends. Lydia came to our hotel and had a meal with us. I told her she was so beautiful, she reminded me of an African queen. Lydia was tall, dressed very colorfully, was very proper and had a great sense of humor. Lydia was quite charismatic and had a heart for people. Lydia was married to the very outspoken and very loved Reverend Kenneth Meshoe. For many years Reverend Meshoe has been a member of the South African Parliament and is a member of the African Christian Democratic Party. I have enjoyed watching YouTube videos of Kenneth Meshoe over the years, even debating with Nelson Mandela. Together, the Meshoes pastored their church, Hope of Glory, and won many souls for the Kingdom of God. Lydia was also very involved in the African Christian Democratic Party and was a very passionate leader in the Party. I’m not quite sure how she juggled all her numerous responsibilities in her church and her political party, but she did a superb job at both. She was very proud of her family and very involved with them.
