Pastor Donny called Preicyllia and they talked about the situation and prayed together. When he came back into the room with us, we said, “Pastor Donny, what do you want to do.” He said, “My wife told me, ‘No. You stay and preach!” It looked like whatever was about to happen was going to happen to us all as a team. With the detectives surveilling us from outside and the military police demanding for us to come in and talk to them and turnover our passports, we decided to do the best thing we could do. We sat at the table together and we took communion. We took time to remember what Jesus had done for us and how he had called us to carry His Gospel to the ends of the earth.

As we had communion, I played my guitar and

together we sang and worshipped the Lord.

Then Pastor Steve shared a story with us of an

experience he had had recently.

He said a man named Pastor Emmanuel (God with us) came to his home in Jakarta and told him a powerful testimony of his “from death to life” experience. Pastor Emmanuel was from Rwanda and was badly injured in the war. He eventually died from his injuries. Jesus gave him a guided tour of heaven and Pastor Emmanuel said every time someone on earth gave their life to Jesus, angels in heaven rejoiced by playing Golden Guitars.
