There was a young girl working in a grocery store cash register that the Lord led me to. She was outgoing and seemed very friendly. As I was checking out, I offered her a Bible. She welcomed the gift I was giving her. She casually told me after she got off work, she was going to a friend’s bridal shower. She was excited to go there. The next day I went back to the store, and when I saw her I asked, “How was your friend’s bridal shower? ” Her face lit up and she told me such a great story. “I took the Bible you gave me, wrapped it up in colorful paper and gave it to my friend as a wedding gift. It was the greatest present she received at the shower. She and her new husband will cherish it forever. ” I was so touched. I thought of how this young Russian bride and her new husband could establish their marriage on His Word now that they had daily access to read the Bible. I also thought of how it may affect their children in the future, that they were being raised as Christians in a Communist nation. As it was almost time for the young woman to get off work at the store, I gave her another Bible for her to keep for herself. She could not believe she had been
