sent these stats out monthly. At the end of the year, we

had a banquet and awarded trophies to the youth group

that won the championship and also to the individual

scoring champ.

This Bible Quiz League eventually became the

model for the entire Assemblies of God denomination in

America.

David Wilkerson

In 1974, my prophetic mentor, David Wilkerson

accepted my invitation to minister in our small town.

Dallas Holm led the worship. I still remember David

preaching about “Satisfied Sinners.” What an honor to

host the prophet from New York City, who was

ministering the night I was called to preach in Wichita

Falls!
