4. It happens as we commit ourselves to the reading of and meditation on the Word of God.

If the Bible reflects God’s word to man (and it does), it stands to reason that if I want to know what God thinks about stuff, I would give myself to reading and becoming familiar with the Word of God. This is something that we must make a commitment to as a lifelong pursuit. Of all the books in the world today, we are only challenged to master one of them. There is only one book that will lead us down a sure path to success. Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.
