Throughout our life we have all been observers of life. We have watched others and how they act and interact. From these observations we tend to draw conclusions or make suppositions about life and how it works. For example, my observations may tell me that people who are dishonest in business can prosper over those who try to do everything with honesty and integrity. We might even be able to find examples to support this premise. However, the Bible teaches that those who are dishonest will not prosper (Pro. 10:9). So which is it? It is important to remember that the story is not over yet. It may seem for the moment that the dishonest person is prospering but when the story is over, God’s way will be proven to be superior.

Question to Ponder: “Have you ever observed something in your experience from which you made an assumption that later turned out to be inaccurate?”
