VIII. Practical Steps IN MINISTERING GOD’S POWER

A. Be Filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8, 2:19; Ephesians 5:18-19)

Acts 1:8: “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Ephesians 5:18- 19: “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord…”

B. Walk in the Spirit (Romans 8:14; Galatians 5:16, 25)

Romans 8:14: “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.”

Galatians 5:16: “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you

shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.”

Galatians 5:25: “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk

in the Spirit.”
