God's Prophetic People - A People of Passion, Purpose And Power
God's Prophetic People
Colossians 3:16: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
D. Understand the power God Has Given You (Matthew 10:1; Romans 8:11; 15:18-19; 2 Corinthians 10:3-6; Colossians 2:9,10)
Romans 8:11: “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Matthew 10:1- 2: “And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother.”
E. Know Your Spiritual Gifts (Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12, 14; Ephesians 4:7-16)
F. Be Faithful to Your Spiritual Gifts to Serve Others (1 Peter 4:10-11)
1 Peter 4:10-11: “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
G. Start Small (Zechariah 4:10)
