Hebrews 11:1- 3, NKJV: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Matthew 17:20, KJV: “And Jesus said unto them, ‘Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.’” 1) God says that all of us have a measure of faith (Rom.12:3) 2) God says that this faith comes by hearing God’s Word (Rom.10:17) 3) God says that you can apply (act out) your faith to see your needs met (Matt.17:20)

4) Then, when your faith has been planted and is growing, speak to your mountain and watch God set about its removal (2 Chron. 25:9; John 10:10).

God wants to open up the walls — the dams which have held back His river of power from flowing in your life.

VII. POWER PREVENTERS

Just as we learned about how to unlock God’s power in our lives, there are also road blocks that prevent his power to flow through us. These include: A. A Poor Diet (Matthew 4:4) What we consume with our eyes and ears will have a profound effect on us spiritually. A poor diet consists of prolonged watching of television and poorly rated movies,
