God's Prophetic People - A People of Passion, Purpose And Power
God's Prophetic People
Acts 16:25- 26: “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed.” Psalm 149:6- 9: “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute on them the written judgment — this honor have all His saints. Praise the LORD!” Psalm 71:18: “Now also when I am old and gray headed, O God, do not forsake me, until I declare Your strength to this generation, your power to everyone who is to come.” Luke 4:18-19: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.” 1 Corinthians 2:4-5: “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” C. Proclamation (Psalm 71:18; Luke 4:18; Acts 4:31; Romans 1:16; 2 Corinthians 2:4-5)
D. Faith (Matthew 17:20; Romans 10:17; Hebrews 11:1-3, 6)
Romans 10:17, NKJV: “So then faith comes by hearing,
and hearing by the word of God.”
