God's Prophetic People

God's prophetic people are those Spirit-filled believers who, realizing their relationship with and position in Christ Jesus, willingly submit to God's delegated authority, build up the Body of Christ by serving others, and who receive God's power to arise and take authority over sin, sickness, circumstances, and Satan, extending God's Kingdom purposes in supernatural ways.

VI. KEYS TO UNLOCKING GOD’S POWER IN YOUR LIFE

God has provided us the keys outlined in his Word so that we can unlock and move in His power in our life. This section will discuss the keys he provides.

A. Prayer and Fasting (Isaiah 58; Luke 4:1,14; Acts)

“The swift and powerful movement of the Holy Spirit recorded in the Acts was not only initiated by prayer, but fed by prayer. In a day when God has begun to pour out His Spirit upon His people, even as He promised, we should expect to see among them a new spirit of grace and supplication. However powerful the initial coming upon us of the Spirit may be, if this doesn't find expression in a life of prayer, the blessing will soon become a fading glory. A movement of God will last as long as the spirit of prayer that inspired it.” - E.M. Bounds, Power Through Prayer 17

B. Praise (Psalm 8:2; Psalm 22:3; Matthew 21:16; Acts 16:25-26; Ephesians 5:18-19)
