God's Prophetic People - A People of Passion, Purpose And Power
God's Prophetic People
or of truth and fact; the perception of the connection and agreement, or disagreement and repugnancy of our ideas.
• Learning; illumination of the mind • Acquaintance with any fact or person • Information, power of knowing
Now let’s look at the three different types of knowledge:
1) Intellectual knowledge : This is information we think about in our minds. Things we imagine, ideas which we ponder. This knowledge is informational. 2) Observational knowledge : This is seeing with our own eyes the things which we’ve previously thought about. We thought about it first, and then we observed it with our eyes, therefore we know it. You could have read about what a certain dish of food looked like, and then you actually saw a picture of the food and could confirm your knowledge of its description. 3) Experiential knowledge : This type of knowledge goes beyond intellect and observation to the experiential realm. You actually get to taste this remarkable food dish. When you cross over into the experiential realm, this meal or dish becomes a reality in your life. Many of us have thought of what revival would really be like. We’ve seen some pictures or recordings of what revival looks like. But I believe as this century continues to unfold that we will actually experience what God’s revival really is all about. God’s prophetic people will be revival agents because they have developed a knowledge that has come down from heaven through revelation. They have a prophetic perspective which will lead them into both personal revival and bringing revival into the lives of others.
