IV. THE STEPS IN Losing PURPOSE

When we reflect on the previous steps, it becomes clear why so many people lose their vision. It's as if there’s a graveyard of dreams and visions that were once alive but are now lifeless. What a tragic loss. The root of this often lies in a person losing their reverence or fear of the Lord. Many pastors have offered definitions of the fear of the Lord, but the one that has had the most impact on me is this: knowing that God is watching everything I do, hearing everything I say, and knows every thought I think . When we truly grasp the weight of this truth, it can inspire us to live with a renewed sense of awe and reverence before God.
