However, one crucial aspect that seems to be overlooked is that vision has a focal point. People often attend conferences that inspire and fill them with new ideas and excitement, but within weeks, they find themselves back in the same routines, with little to no change in their lifestyle. Even if the speakers were powerful, the attendees can’t carry that inspiration with them. This is often because their primary focus is not on the One who gives the vision. To see your vision birthed and realized, your attention must be fixed on the Source of that vision. “True greatness, true leadership, is found in giving yourself in service to others, not in coaxing or inducing others to serve you... the truest spiritual leader is focused on the service he or she can render to God and other people…we must aim to put more into life then we take out.” – J. Vision Strategy (Proverbs 29:18; Luke 4:18, Hebrews 12:2-3) As Christ is our example in all of the different areas in our lives, He is also our example of strategy. For vision to become a reality, it must have a strategy. Strategy : A plan of action, especially for attaining a goal. The science and art of conducting a military campaign on a broad scale. A plan or technique for achieving some end. 16
