God's Prophetic People

Vision is seeing from a higher perspective — an inspired glimpse of reality. It is the understanding, revealed by the Holy Spirit, of God’s unique purpose for a person or group. It’s essential for everyone to have a vision for their life, as it brings great rewards and lasting impact. 1. Helps us see through God's eyes; to perceive His plans and purposes 2. Strengthens us with conviction that God's plans and purposes are possible to obtain 3. Provides a sense of clear direction 4. Enables a group of people to move together in unity of mind, purpose, and spirit 5. Gives motivation 6. Establishes a standard of excellence 7. Acts as a bridge to carry you from the present to the future Hebrews 12:2: “… looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Acts 2:25: “For David says concerning Him: ‘I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken.” John 5:19- 20: “Then Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
