God's Prophetic People - A People of Passion, Purpose And Power

God's Prophetic People

Our God is a God of purpose. He has always had a plan, and that plan has never changed nor will it ever change in the future.

Evolution says: “Man is the result of a purposeless and materialistic process that does not have him in mind. He was not planned.” 8 How utterly wrong this is. A. Individual Purpose (Genesis 1:26-28; Matthew 28:18-20; Luke 4:18; Romans 8:28-30; Ephesians 2:8-10; 2 Timothy 1:8-9). The four-fold purpose of Man, Genesis 1:26-28: Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that move s on the earth.” 1. Intimate relationship God desires us to lovingly respond to Him out of a free will. 2. Character God desires us to exhibit His attributes in tangible ways (Gal. 5:22-23). 3. Dominion God has given us the ability to overcome ourselves (sinful nature), the devil and his influences, the world and all life’s circumstances. 4. Reproduction God desires us to be fruitful and multiply in all areas of life.
