God's Prophetic People

In these latter days, God is raising up prophetic voices throughout the nations who are declaring the purposes of God. They are giving God’s vision to people and declaring the eternal purposes of God to their generation. You see, God’s mind is filled with an eternal purpose and plan. Some say that the Lord is like an artist (sculptor). He sees the end from the beginning and knows exactly what instrument to use at the right time to achieve the finished product. God is strategically in control of all the heavens and earth. He is like an undefeatable chess player, moving people, leaders, nations, and kingdoms around like pawns in His hands. The Bible says in Proverbs 21:1, “The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, like the rivers of water; he turns it wherever He wishes.” Our God is providential over all. It is quite interesting to note the Latin meaning of providence , which is to foresee . God knows the beginning from the end, and the end from the beginning, and all that lies in between. Benjamin Franklin, one of America’s great leaders, stated the following when addressing the providence of God: “The longer I live, the more fully convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of man; and if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid?” – Benjamin Franklin 7
