God's Prophetic People

As you look around you, it is clear that everything has been produced on purpose and for a purpose. For example, a toothbrush. This product was produced to function inside the mouths of millions of people all around the world. Its purpose is to brush and clean peoples’ teeth. Gloves were produced to be placed over hands which will help protect them, either from cold weather, or from rough wood or dirt, etc. Snowboards were created for sliding down mountains and hills. Many ladies use make-up, hair spray, and other products for the purpose of beautifying themselves. You see, each product that has been created has a purpose, and every person on planet Earth has been created for a purpose. For us as Christian believers to know and understand this we must first look into God’s Word and understand that He has an eternal purpose. You see, to have purpose is to be purposeful. It is a clear and dominant sense of what a person is seeking to accomplish. It is a consistent drumbeat that you can hear in your spirit that drives the very fiber of your existence. It gives you a sense of destiny. God's prophetic people are those who not only receive, understand, and fulfill God's plans and purposes for themselves, but also grasp God's eternal purpose, proclaiming it articulately to a lost and dying generation. 1. Purpose is the original reason for the existence of a thing 2. Purpose is the original intent for the creation of a thing 3. Purpose is the end for which the means exists 4. Purpose is the desired result which initiated the production of a thing 5. Purpose is the need which causes the manufacturer to produce a specific product 6. Purpose is the point of destination which prompts us to take the journey 7. Purpose is the aspiration of an individual which produces inspiration to accomplish something 8. Purpose is that which must be discovered by every individual to live a fulfilling life here on planet Earth
