laughter at the same time. Thousands were accepting Jesus on col lege and high school campuses all around the region. Though there was great resistance it could not stand against the fast increase in the number o f those saved. There were more of us than there were o f them. Uncommonly common Jesus people were in hospitals every where praying for the sick and injured. Patients in hospital gowns were jumping out of sick beds and running down the corridors and out the exit with their hands raised rejoicing, "I'm healed! I'm healed! Jesus healed me!" This was happening in every hospital. Hospital emergency centers were miracle centers. Some killed in tragic situa tions were being raised from the dead in front of many witnesses in many different places. Nightclubs were emptying out and many were worshiping in the streets with parades of people marching up and down the streets, rejoicing loudly and in great unity, shouting of God's won ders. The downtown baseball park was full of people having revival, and thousands who could not get in were having their own revival outside. The Rose Center and the Portland Convention Center were filled to capacity with spiritually hungry people. Healing miracles and signs and wonders were happening everywhere in the streets outside. Thousands were turning to Christ. City Hall and govern ment officials were turning to the Lord. In the gay community on campuses revival was setting captiv s free. Some were leaving town as fast they could, to escape the light o f God and the destruction o ftheir lifestyle that was happening right in front of their eyes. Others were corning from every surrounding region to enter this city of the glory dome. The entire region was an open heaven, a "Portal-land" of God's love, power, and safety. I was sitting there in my car with tears ofjoy mixed with the fear of the Lord. I began to hear His tender but powerful voice: "I will give My plans to many with the grace for leaders and follow ers to come together without selfish ambition. I'm the Chief One, and the 'My-ministry-is-first' mentality is not in the heart of these servant-hearted Reformational ones." In their heart of hearts, they 117
