The interpretation can come in increments, over a period of time. And the third part is the application. It can be immediate or it can be long term. In a meeting it is up to an individual to receive and release a revelation or prophecy under the guidelines set by the leadership. The interpretation may be brought by the person delivering the word, or by another, often one of the leadership or prophetic team, or both. The application or response or absence of a response to a word is left up to the leadership or prophetic team. Depending upon the type and purpose of the meeting it may not be necessary to bring an interpretation to the prophecy or give an application. If tongues are brought forth in the meeting it should be interpreted, preferably by the one delivering it according to 1 Corinthians 14:13, “Therefore let him who speaks in a tongue pray that he may interpret.” All things should be done in love and for the edi fi cation of the church. 1 Corinthians 14:12, “Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edi fi cation of the church that you seek to excel,” should be the guideline for bringing forth all revelations and prophecies in a corporate meeting.
