Mary returns home 56 And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her own house. 1:41 John leaped within Elizabeth because the Eternal SPIRIT within him (vs 15) got excited that the Eternal CHRIST was near. The SPIRIT noted, “If Mary is here, then JESUS is here!” As believers, we need to get excited about the things that excite the SPIRIT . Learn to get excited about the things that excite Him and He will become active in your life. Question is: What excites the SPIRIT? What motivates Him to become active in our life? In order to identify those things that excite Him, we need to first understand His seven-fold work ( I Cor 12:11b ). 1:55 The great covenant promise concerning redemption was made in its most explicit manner to Abraham. You can find it prior to that in Genesis 3:15,21 & 4:1-4 & 8:20-21, but the definition of it, as it were, the explicit statement of it, is made to Abraham when he is told that in him, in his seed (Gal 3:16), shall all the world be blessed (Gen 12:3).
