DANIEL DANIEL Ever hear of the USS Texas ? It’s the world’s most revolutionary stealth submarine ever made. This one submarine, which carries more Tomahawk missiles armed with nuclear warheads than can be imagined, could easily destroy the entire world with its nuclear freight. Each missile can travel over 1000 miles in order to deliver its unprecedented payload. Which means, America, if she wanted to, could reach and destroy 70% of the world’s landmass with just one submarine. Ever hear of the JSF ? Called the Joint Strike Fighter, this 200 billion dollar plane of the United States is supposedly so invisible and so invincible that the enemy can’t even detect it. In fact, the Joint Strike Fighter is so fast that it can fly at twice the speed of sound. The military payload that it carries is even scarier. Unbeknownst to many, two of the deadliest, most sophisticated nuclear-armed submarines ever built by the United States now lie at the bottom of the ocean floor due to maritime accidents. They lie there, like ticking time bombs (if you would), waiting for the ocean floor to shift or volcanic activity to erupt…to do…well, we don’t know what they are going to do. What we do know is that there are enough nuclear bombs aboard those two American submarines to end civilization, as we know it. Interestingly enough, the Russians have lost more nuclear-armed submarines to the bottom of the ocean than even the United States has. In fact, there are enough nuclear warheads held hostage at the bottom of our oceans right now to destroy the world ten times over. Again, it’s not a matter of “if” we destroy ourselves, but when. Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins in Are We Living in the End Times? notes: General Alexander Lebed, national security advisor to Russian president Boris Yeltsin, shocked the world some time ago by announcing that one hundred suitcase-size nuclear bombs were missing! The bombs in question were one-kiloton weapons developed by the KGB for special forces operations during the cold war. Weighing between sixty and a hundred pounds, each is easily transported and could be set up and detonated by a single man in less than half an hour. Detonated in a city, a single bomb could kill up to 100,000 people. No one has any idea where they are; neither do they know if the bombs have been destroyed, stored, sold, or stolen. 1 Jesus foretold of this day and described for us the world’s condition prior to His return. He said in Matthew 24:22: And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Matthew 24:22 shows us that if Jesus does not intervene in world affairs, the human race will be faced with extinction. It is crucial to note that the human race now has the capability to exterminate itself. NOTE – There are nine nations (at the moment) that possess nuclear weapons of mass destruction: 1. America – The USA has had them since 1945. At one time we possessed over 30,000 of them. 2. Russia – The Soviet Union has had them since 1949. They have over 13,000 of them. 6. Israel – The state of Israel has had them since 1967. She has 80 of them; and she WILL use them to defend herself. 7. India – The people of India have had them since 1974. They have 70 of them. Within the last 10 years India and Pakistan have threatened to annihilate each other using nukes. 8. Pakistan – The always dangerous Islamic state has had them since 1990. They too have 70 of them. Unfortunately, Pakistan has sold their nuclear capabilities to both Libya and Iran. 9. North Korea – The ever dangerous N. Koreans have had them since 2006. They have 10 of them. President Kennedy reminded us back in the 60’s: Every man, woman and child lives under a nuclear sword… hanging by the slenderest of threads, capable of being cut at any moment by accident, by miscalculation, or by madness. 2 2. We’ve become so smart that we are now at the threshold of being able to destroy ourselves, with or without the use of nuclear and biological means . Ever hear of an EMP ? An EMP is an electro magnetic pulse that is normally associated with a nuclear blast. Whenever a nuclear explosion occurs it emits electro magnetic pulses strong enough to disable any and all electronic circuits within its path. All that is needed to disable and render any country defenseless is for one small nuke to be detonated three hundred miles above its airspace. The power emitted from the electro magnetic pulses, and that alone, would take out any and all electronic devices used by that nation. Cars, planes, phones, computers, and every electronic gadget known to man would be rendered useless. Hospital instruments, heart monitors, hearing aids, home securities (and on and on the list goes) would fail to work after the electro magnetic pulse from the nuclear blast was done doing what it does best –disabling and deadening electronic circuitry. Which means, an attacked nation couldn’t even retaliate against the nation that attacked them, because all their circuitry would be knocked out. No wonder countries all over the world are working feverishly to gain “first strike” capability. John Hagee in Jerusalem Countdown reminds us of what it would take to destroy America with an EMP. He notes: A fake satellite crossing over America at the height of 280 miles suddenly explodes over the Great Plains of the United States, releasing several pounds of enriched plutonium, blanketing the United States of America with 1355 3.
