P 17 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; 3 Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, As- semble yourselves, and come; gather your- selves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. P 18 3 Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. P 19 3 And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sac- rifice which I have sacrificed for you. P 20 3 Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the LordGOD. P 21 3 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. P 22 3 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward. P 23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. 24 According to their uncleanness and ac- cording to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them. P 27 4 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations; P
28 4 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I havegatheredthemuntotheirownland, and have left none of them any more there. P 29 4 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my 6 SPIRIT upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD. P 6 4 Then came HE unto the gate which looketh toward the east, and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad; and the other threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad. The regathering of Israel will prove to be one of the means of leading Israel, as well as the Gentiles, to repentance and faith in the Lord. 39:29 The New Covenant ( for I have poured out my SPIRIT upon the house of Israel ) guarantees Israel a converted heart when she finally accepts Christ as the MESSIAH at the end of Daniel’s Seventieth Week ( Dan 9:24-27 ).
