ISAIAH 24:2

ISAIAH 25:1

1077

16 From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the 6 treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously. 17 1 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. P 18 1 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. P 19 1 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. P 20 1 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. P The promise of Wrath when CHRIST returns (Fulfilled - Rev 19:11-21) 21 And it shall come to pass in that 7 DAY , that the LORD shall punish the 8 host of the high ones that are on high, and the 9 kings of the earth upon the earth. P The promise of a JUDGMENT DAY to come (Fulfilled - Rev 20:11-15) 22 And 10 they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the 11 prison, 12 and after many days shall they be 13 visited. P P The promise of a Kingdom where 23 14 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the 15 LORD OF HOSTS shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously. P Isaiah 25 The Millennium Date Written - c. 711 BC/AM 3289 1 O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt CHRIST will rule (Fulfilled - Rev 20:4,6)

2 1 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the bor- rower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. P 3 1 The 2 land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. P 4 1 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. P 5 1 The earth also is defiled under the in- habitants thereof; because they have trans- gressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the 3 everlasting covenant. P 6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: 1 therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and fewmen left. P 7 1 The new wine mourneth, the vine lan- guisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh. P 8 1 The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth. P 9 1 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it. P 10 1 The 4 city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in. P 11 1 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone. P 12 1 In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction. P 13 1 When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, 5 there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done. P 14 They shall lift up their voice, 1 they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea. P 15 Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.

24:6 This word ( burned ) means, “charred.” Could this term be actually pointing to a nuclear exchange between the nations during the Great Tribulation? We’re not sure. However, certain scriptures in Revelation concerning the last half of the Tribulation Period make it a distinct possibility (Rev 6:7-8 & 8:7-13 & 9:13-15). 24:23 The “ LORD OF HOST ” here is referring to GOD THE FATHER . Interestingly enough, both the FATHER and the SON will co-reign together to rule in the 1000-year Millennium Kingdom, which is to come ( Rev 11:15 ). 25:1 Here in verse 1 Isaiah begins with a song of “exultation.” He then goes on to describe the results of the Great Tribulation (vs 2).
