Because of you and your team, they will not be. This is a political war being run by the overweight brass inWashington, DC, and some suits that know nothing of combat or winning a war. Those two factions are a war on their own, trying to decide what to do in this glorified rice paddy. I received orders from high up, that what you are about to do is imperative to win over the minds of some fence-sitters there.'" "'This is a clan-destined mission. You will be at the enemy’s doorstep and kick their door in, but quietly. You will infiltrate their command posts, homes, parties, social gatherings, and military meetings. You will search and destroy assigned targets, be it military or civilian, and whole families might be involved as essential to your success. You will kill without prejudice.'" "'If you do not have the stomach for this, I need to know now. I will say this, if you decide not to continue with this mission, and you leave this office and reveal what was discussed here, you will be retired permanently and, if you are lucky, go to the prison facility in Fort Leavenworth. You will bring dishonor to your family and your uniform. The military gave birth to you and the military will bury you. If you repeat what I am telling you, it will put the team that does go at risk, and the mission will be unsuccessful and your life will basically be over, if not immediately terminated.
