The Spiritual Song - Exploring Prophetic Worship by Mike Herron
presence of the Lord filled the Temple of God. “(2 Chron. 5:12-14)
David, Asaph, Jeduthun and Heman were the co-architects of Biblical worship. God is again laying these foundations of prophetic praise in his church building upon the commands and insights of his servants. ‘ The musicians, descendants of Asaph, were in their assigned places, following the commands that had been given by David, Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun, the king’s seer.” (2 Chron. 35:15) Musicians are called to be prophetic, releasing messages from the King! There are people called to give themselves fully to this ministry God wants to use all generations in the prophetic song The presence of the Lord is the source of inspiration The prophetic song can be a song of thanks and praise The prophetic song can be a song exalting Christ or God Women are called to sing songs of the Spirit There is a prophetic design for the worship team
