The Shaking of Nations - A Harvest Tsunami Is On Its Way....
and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.
One more quote comes from Hosea 3:5:
Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the latter days. (Emphasis added)
Are these passages saying that God’s public goodness will
cause people and nations to fear and tremble before Him? Let's
more closely examine the impact on people and nations as they
witness the goodness of the Lord displayed.
I have seen people burst into tears over someone’s
compassion toward them. I have seen people with trembling
lips and shaking hands as they reach out to accept a hugely
generous, unexpected gift. What Pastor Johnson has
highlighted is that in the last days — as the church
demonstrates the amazing goodness of God’s power , and the
stability of His kingdom, while life is being violently shaken by
world events — people will be shocked by the contrast of God’s
goodness in transforming impossible situations.
In one of the previous scriptural quotes, the Psalmist David
asked, “ W ho will show us any good?” Does that sound like a
lament we might hear today? I have often heard people say in
troubled times, “ Is there any good news?”
