The Shaking of Nations - A Harvest Tsunami Is On Its Way....

Historically, the second temple never achieved that high

promise of glory and magnificence, even after King Herod

improved and dramatically beautified it in Jesus’ time. But here

is where we need to go to the Book of Hebrews, in Chapter 12,

to apprehend the fuller meaning of Haggai’s prophecy.

The Writer of Hebrews (New Testament view of Haggai 2)

The writer of Hebrews gives us help to grasp the deeper meaning in Haggai’s prophetic message. 4 God was not going

to draw the nations into another physical temple. God’s ultimate

plan was to build a different house of God — the church.

The New Testament writer confirms that there will be another

shaking; and that shaking will cause sinners and saints to seek

how to live an unshakable life.

At that time His voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, “Once m ore I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken

4 The double prophecy found in Haggai’s letter illustrates times when there is an imminent fulfillment of a prophecy, yet a more important and more complete fulfillment will come in the future. We can also see this in the prophecy of the virgin birth in Isa. 7:14, and the virgin birth found in Matthew and Luke.
