would such a move of God’s Spirit look like in your life, or in

your church?

3. Has God drawn your heart towards a struggling,

backslidden believer? As much as the spiritual child must

recognize the God given connection between parent and

child, it is the spiritual parent who must see and take the first

steps of connecting. If you see that connection and God has

begun to touch your heart towards a spiritual child, begin

praying about how God would have you begin reaching out.

4. God does not demand spiritual perfection in those He will

use as a spiritual parent. What He does require is honesty

and progress in living the Christian life. It is not perfection in
