Study and Reflection

1. Review the promise of the coming of the Spirit of Elijah

(Mal.3:1-3; 4:5-6; Luke 1:16-17; Matt.17:11-12). If God is

going to pour out a prophetic movement of restoration

towards the end of this age - does it make sense the

church should prepare and develop its prophetic voice?

This prophetic movement will play a huge role in providing

renewed and restored believers to work in the coming

harvest of the church.

2. The prophetic word is a powerful work of God that impacts

the heart of those who hear it. Review the scripture again

concerning the “rhema” word of God (Rom.10:17;

Jer.23:29; Hebrews 4:12).

3. Review how all of God’s people can be used of God in

Sharing God’s words with others (Acts 2:17; I Cor. 14:5;

14:31).

4. The word of God must be spoken in love (Eph. 4:15;

John 3:17) with the three goals of comfort, encouragement

and exhortation (1 Cor.14:3).
