The Shaking of Nations - A Harvest Tsunami Is On Its Way....

miraculous works and preaches the word of God in every

sphere of a city or nations life, over a period of time the

hardness of the world’s way of thinking and acting towards the

gospel is softened making that nation more and more receptive to it. 29

Dr. Silvoso illustrates this “submerging” spiritual proces s by

referring to the wording used in an ancient Greek recipe for the

pickling of vegetables. The vegetable must first be immersed in

boiling water that temporarily softens the skin and then is

quickly immersed in vinegar which permanently changes the nature of the vegetable. 30

What these mighty men of God are teaching is consistent with

the theme of this book that God is ready to “shake nations.” Is

not the coming divine shaking the “boiling of the water” that

these nations will go through? Is this not the breaking of

personal and national confidence leaving nations shaken and

looking for what is unshakable?
