Part Seven

Preparing the Church

(Part A)

Let me say once again that God is preparing His church for the

greatest shaking and harvest in Church history. Scripture is

clear on this. God is going to shake nations to awaken people

to their need of divine help in the midst of unsolvable problems,

conflicts and anxieties.

Sadly there are also believers with what I call “stink ing thinking .”

They believe we are heading for chaos and the demise of this

age, where the church must simply endure and hang on till

Jesus Comes. Much of this is due to bad teaching by misguided

church leaders.

As I have pointed out, scripture gives us a clear hope that the

church will powerfully fulfill the Great Commission and reach all

nations with the gospel. The Lord is going to glorify His people

as they boldly and sacrificially manifest the life of the Kingdom

of God on earth as it is in heaven.

But this does not mean that those who fail to prepare will not

pay a price. Failure to prepare is different than failure in
