The Shaking of Nations - A Harvest Tsunami Is On Its Way....

command a mulberry tree to be uprooted and to be planted in

the sea. He affirmed that the tree would obey them and God

would cause this to happen. I am sure this shocked the

disciples.

Like them I used to ask God to help me have more faith. I felt I

would need to come to a place where I felt confident in being

able to do greater things for God. But that is not what Jesus is

saying in this exhortation. Something as unusual as uprooting

a mulberry tree and commanding it to be planted in the sea was

something Jesus saw as not requiring great faith in God.

If we are honest, we would be right there with the disciples in

being astonished at such a statement. I don’t believe many of

us have ever practiced moving mulberry trees or any tree from

one place to another. So how do we do such things with the

faith we already have?

The key is found in John 5:19-20:

Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; He can do only what He sees His Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all He does. Yes, and He will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed” ( John 5:19-20).
